What it Takes to Crack NTSE, Learn directly from the NTSE Scholars





1. Shudhatma Jain : (State topper of NTSE Stage-1 Rajasthan, 2009)

1) Whom do you wish to give the credit of your success?
Firstly i want to thank my family for providing all necessary help & support. Also thanks to Resonance which polished my knowledge & finally the credit goes to the almighty God who provided me courage & determination to perform my best.

2) How did All India Test Series & Interview session helped you?

All India Test Series besides showing position in whole AIR, helped me to find
out my week points. Interview sessions were really a boon as they helped to overcome fear & anxieties of Interview.


3) What are important topics for NTSE?
i) Physics- Light ii) Chemistry- Chemical Reactionsiii) Mathematics- polynomials
Besides this one should be almost perfect with his MAT.

4) What was most difficult session in Stage-1 & Stage- 2 ?
i) In Stage- I although most part was intermediate but Maths was very tough.
ii) In Stage-II whole paper was very difficult but Maths again the tougest.


5) How did you cope up with school, coaching & Competitive Exams Studies?
- First of all relax.. Instead of mixing all the 3, just concentrate on one at a time.


6) When did you join Reso PCCP division?
- I joined PCCP in April 2008 & took admission in 1st phase.

7) How many questions attempted in NTSE?
- In both the stages I tried to solve maximum. If a question was beyond my limt, then I just marked any of the option which seemed to me the best but did not left any answer blank.

8) How did you arrange your subject wise preparation & later revision?
- In my schedule for NTSE, I gave MAT the 1st preference & after that other subjects came. In subject wise preparation 1st i went through important topics first & than less important. In revision I just went through questions instead of revising theory.

9) What are your Strong points which make you an NTSE Scholar?
- My Strong point is my disciplined behavior & my sincerity towards studies. One more quality of mine is that i grasp most good things from everything.

10) How did you feel when you came to know that you have achieved ARR-1 in
NTSE stage-1.
After giving NTSE stage-1 exam I was very much confident about my selection but getting 1st rank in whole Rajasthan was a great achievement for me. It gave me much happiness as well as feeling of proud.

11) What is your message for students appearing NTSE 2009-10?
- Being a senior and a friend I want to advice them to be tension free & don't take NTSE as a burden. Be confident that you can do it & just attempt the exam in a relaxed mood. I am sure you will really clear NTSE.
