Seems to me that answers of two questions in SAT i.e. 63 and 65 are wrong in this Answer key.
Q.63. In Which country first time the cultivation of opium begin ?
(a) Portugal (b) India
(c) China (d) Britain
Answer given in the Key issued by SIERT -Udaipur is (c) China.
First line on Second paragraph, Page no.132 of the chapter Peasants and Farmers, NCERT book clearly mentions that 'The Portuguese had introduced opium into China in the early sixteenth century.' So how the answer can be China. NCERT book is silent about which country first time the cultivation of opium begin ?. But Wikipedia says -
Cultivation of opium poppies for food, anaesthesia, and ritual purposes dates back to at least the Neolithic Age (new stone age). The Sumerian, Assyrian, Egyptian, Indian, Minoan, Greek, Roman, Persian and Arab Empires all made widespread use of opium, which was the most potent form of pain relief then available, allowing ancient surgeons to perform prolonged surgical procedures.

I think the answer should be India or atleast Portugal, China cannot be the answer.
Q.65. Who opened the first Cricket Club in India ?
(a) Britisher (b) Hindu
(c) Jurestreian (d) Muslim
Answer given by SIERT is (c)Jurestreian
Page no.149 of the Chapter - The Story of Cricket,NCERT book, last line clearly says -'The first record we have of cricket being played in India is from 1721, an account of recreational cricket played by English sailors in Cambay. The FIRST INDIAN CLUB, the CALCUTTA CRICKET CLUB was established in 1792.. Through the eighteenth century, cricket in India was almost wholly a sport played by British Military men and civil servantss in all-white clubs and gymkhanas.'
The second paragraph on the same page says -'The Parsis founded the FIRST INDIAN CRICKET CLUB, the ORIENTAL CRICKET CLUB in Bombay in 1848.
So its quiet clear that the ANSWER should be BRITISH rather then the JURESTREIN as SIERT, Udaipur says. Here I would like to mention one thing, Question asked was 'Who opened the First Cricket Club in India ?' it was not asked that 'Who opened the First Indian Cricket Club in India?'

So I think both these answers taken by SIERT, Udaipur is wrong, I would like to request all Students and parents to write to SIERT, Udipur to reconsider the answer of the above questions.

some answers are wrong in this answer key provided by siert like in mat ans of ques.66 and 67 and in sat ques 6 option (c) can also be the answer

sir,in mat ans of qus.66 and 67 should be 66-1,67-1 and 25-1,4both are correct.similarly in sat ans of qus-6 should be 3(biconvex lens)and for qus43-3,4 both are correct. So the authority should reconsider it.

Respected sir ,

My Name is shivang jindal and recently i have given NTSE stage -1 Rajasthan .
According to me the answer key given by SIERT-UDAIPUR has Some defects :

MAT

Q67) Answer Given in SIERT Answer key is (2) and it is right answer. But one more answer can be possible that is option (1)
Reason : In each figure outer semicircle is on opposite sides except figure (!)1) . in option (1) Outer semicircle is on adjacent side so odd one out is option (1) .

Q66) Answer Given in SIERT Answer key is (1) and it is right answer. But one more answer can be possible that is option (2)
Reason : In each figure , the black part is just in anti-clockwise direction to white leaf , but option (2) violates this .So odd one out should be (2)

SAT

Q65) Answer given in SIERT Answer key is (3) but the right answer should be (1) .
Reason : Page no.149 of the Chapter - The Story of Cricket,NCERT book, last line clearly says -'The first record we have of cricket being played in India is from 1721, an account of recreational cricket played by English sailors in Cambay.

Q43) Answer given in SIERT answer key is option (3) and it is right answer But option (4) can be answer .
Reason : We have to find the change in Shadow of Tower when angle of elevation of sum increases from 0 to 90 . After 90 shadow of Tower will be zero and it is also in the option . hence option 4 is also correct !

Q63) Answer given in SIERT answer key is option (3) but according to me Option (1) or option (2) is correct ( I mean option (3) can't be the answer)
Reason:
First line on Second paragraph, Page no.132 of the chapter Peasants and Farmers, NCERT book clearly mentions that 'The Portuguese had introduced opium into China in the early sixteenth century.' So how the answer can be China. NCERT book is silent about which country first time the cultivation of opium begin ?. But Wikipedia says -

I think the answer should be India or atleast Portugal, China cannot be the answer.

Please look forward ..
