Option B of question No. 3 of Class VII is wrong. If boiling point increases due to pressure then how material gets cooked faster. The correct answer should be : the temperature of water increases due to pressure".

In question No. 8 both the answer A & D are correct. In the text book the last step in waste water treatment "Chlorination" is mentioned for disinfection.

There are a few doubts about the Class 10 Key.
a)Q.No.7. Calcium Hydroxide is an alkali. Proof: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcium_hydroxide , under Niche uses, point 7.
b)Q.No.45. If alphabets are reversed, the last number will A. Now the fifth letter towards the left from A is the question. Now lets count five letters to the left of A: B,C,D,E and F. So the answer should be option(B) F.

The answers provided in respect of Question no. 11 and 17 of class VIII appear to be not correct:-
Q- 11- As P is the mid point of AC, hence PA automatically becomes half of AC. In this situation option 'D' -"All of these" is correct answer.
Q-17 Between 'n' and (n+1), there are 2n numbers of non perfect square, hence option 'C'- "2n" is correct answer. For example, between 100 (square of 10) and 121 (square of 11), there are 20 (2n)non perfect square numbers.

In class 10 answer key,
Q7.)There should be 2 answers,A)calcium hydroxide and D)ammonium hydroxide.
Along with wikipedia, you can also confirm this at the following link : http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/15573/alkali

i totallly agree with you pranjal and if you see ca(oh)2, mg(oh)2 nd even nh4oh are alkali s. the question should hve been which is nt an alkali and the answer should hve been al(oh)3

Q 20 of class 9 is wrong answer must be D

I Accept Mr. Pranjal Mehta. His right in both the questions in which he has raised doubt. The alkali question is completely wrong because the question "Which of these is alkali ?' and if you see the options are Ca(OH)2 , Mg(OH)2, Al(OH)3 and NH4OH and three of these are alkali nh4oh, mg(oh)2 and ca(oh)2. then even in question 46 the answer should be F instead of E . Please rectify the answers in the anjswer

Mr DK Dhiraj I agree to you reguarding Q17 but in question 11 option A is the only correct answer as B&C are not always true.
For ex.AB=3,BC=4,AC=5.
Hence PA=2.5,PB=2.4
Hence neither PB=AC/2 nor PA=PB is correct
