One day meeting of Liaison/Nodal officers of NTSS was held on 12th July, 2013 at New Delhi. Director, NCERT Professor Parvin Sinclair, in her keynote address stressed that the present form of NTSE need to be reformed.
During discussions and deliberations, the following important points were finalized-

@Rajkumar - When I called NCERT office, the man informed me last week of August. This just proves how NCERT is not giving correct information and is misleading students.

Dear Abhishek, its not like misleading anybody, but the exact process and next year notifications etc do take time.
do not get anxious, everything would be fine soon, you have given the examinations and let the result play its part, now concentrate on you class XI studies. you were part of level-II exam, this clearly indicates you are intelligent, so hope you understand that class XI has much more for you. Do check if you are willing to give KVPY exam too, last date being 26-28Aug.
All the best to you.

@Rajkumar,
Thanks a lot for your best wishes.
Actually I have filled the form for KVPY and I am studying for it.
Thanks for the information too.
It's just a bit frustrating that NCERT is taking so long to declare the result.

I think before deciding on reforms to examination pattern, Madam Sinclair and others need to assess if they can really come up with questions of which they really know the answers !! Or will NCERT continue to conduct the same joke of an examination every year.

Amazing how "intellectuals" have all these wonderful meetings to reform things when their collective intelligence falls short of ensuring an error free examination paper .. worse still a decent after-examination behavior. Hello - is NCERT listening .... Before reforms, time to test your examination setting experts.
