Sub: Information seeking under Right to Information Act.

Dear Sir,

I am submitting this request exercising my RIGHT TO INFORMATION to provide me
Following information regarding the JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for students and Youth Programme)


1.      How many students have visited the Japan in last two years under this programme. Please give the details of the students. Please provide the number of students break up state wise.

2.      Please provide the criteria used for selection of the students under this programme in the last 2 years.

3.      Please provide the criteria used or to be used for as part of the third phase of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youth Programme (JENESYS).

4.   Please provide the expenses incurred towards this programme in the last two years. Please  provide the break up of expenses incurred so far.






Please let me know the expense required for seeking this information. I am already sending the Rs 10/ postal order with post.

Good efforts,
Also there should be some straight guidelines to select the candidate, as in mostly schools their staff is taking advantage of same and sending their childerens name for the trip.

Why Ministry of HRD is taking too light to this programme as desirving candidates are not in consideration, it realy damages the image of country.

Why Goverment not picking the name of students directly from list NTSE Scholers as the are filtered by 3 levels of exams and interview. As they are Govt. certified talented students.

Ministry of HRD should make transparent to selection procedure as on date it totally blind procedure and Govt. officials are taking full advantage of same.
