I am producing the reply received by one parent who filled the RTI, This clearly shows the intentions of Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune. Other States like Rajasthan have started giving the information under RTI to applicants where Progressive states like Maharashtra are withholding the information on the pretext of confidentiality. This clearly indicates the some thing is wrong with the NTSE result of Maharashtra. Time has come that citizens raise their voice
1. Cut Off Marks - Open 161, SC 139 & ST 129.
2. The council does not give any answer key/model answers for the exam.
3. Study council conducted a workshop to discuss the corrections in thequestion paper and required decision was taken. Details of which cannot be shared.
4. OMR/ORS is a computerized technique, hence any requests for seeing the same or getting a copy of the same cannot be considered. Also according to the appeal received by the Central Information Commission Appeal No. ICPB/A-2/CIC/2006 dated 6th Feb 2006, and subsequent judgment given in this case, checked answer sheets are considered confidential. Also the committee of MSCE has also passed a resolution no. 449 to decline any request to show/give a photocopy of the answer sheet. Hence the request for the same cannot be considered.
5. The marks for the mentioned seat no. in the application is as below: GMAT - 71;SAT - 61= 132.
