all is not well with NTSE result

i am reproducing the feedback received regarding the result

Results are available only for 3478 candidates. Again NCERT has goofed up !!

VERY DISAPPOINTING ..NOT A SINGLE NO STARTING WITH 141 & 142 ( KERALA) ..IS THIS LIST INCOMPLETE? DEFINITELY HOPE SO FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILDREN EAGERLY AWAITING THEIR RESULTS

All roll numbers starting from 141 are missing. Please post the complete list.

only 862 students have been selected

It is surprising that this time they have reduced the Scholerships for General Candidates by 100 seats. They have selected totally 645 General Candidates (including 20 disabled quota). Why and how they can reduce the seats from 750 to 625 ?

Info from www.aryanclasses.com.........."The result declared has some missing pages. All students with roll number from 141, 142, 143, 144, 145 i.e. states of (TN), Karnataka, Kerala , Pondicherry, Lakshadweer . Incomplete/corrupt file uploaded on the NCERT website. Expected that they will upload the correct result tomorrow i.e. on 4th August"..the wait continues :-(

As you said very disappointing. How can they reduce seats like that? They have to inform this through their web site before the NTSE exams, that is at the time of inviting application. The results of Kerala,Tamilnadu and Pondicherry seems to be missing.Imagine their tension...

how to apply for retotalling

How they have laid procedure for restricting scholarship to exactly 1000. Do they mean to say in 149 they had exact students so that the total comes to 1000 scholarship.

More RTI applicants to join the cause of making NTSE`exam result transparent !!! ...thank you all for your comments and kudos to Nilesh and team for taking effort to make the procedure infallible... Lets hope from 2012 , no more should children blame their fate and ill-luck for unexpected results ..8th std children are a mere 14yrs and can easily be demotivated when their efforts fail due to mistakes in totalling or human error !!

ncert is really playing with the small children. why the seats have been reduced from 750 to 625. ncert doesnt know that madhya pradesh state declared the result very very late. some states have declared two months before and children get sufficient time to prepare. at least cut-off marks should be increased to 140. within 15 days how one can prepare for the stage 2 . this matter must be reported to Mr kapil sibbalji.
